He Jumped All By Himself!

If you don't know Braeden very well, then you might not know how big of a deal it is that he jumped off the diving board at swimming lessons today. Braeden is my child who hesitates to take risks and likes to be completely ready and sure before he tries something new. In other words, he is my child. But yesterday after swimming he told me that today he would jump off the board by himself, and he did! I'm so proud of how willing he is becoming to try new things. We will continue to encourage him to try anything once (within reason obviously) without worrying so much. I am hopeful that we can install a confidence in him now that he will carry with him through his life.
